Puig Pedrous
We had a very pleasant walk in the sunshine over the garrigue. The terrain was dry, dusty and rocky but only the last hundred or so metres of ascent were tricky. In all we walked a little over ten kilometres and climbed about 400 metres. The group is quite international but usually the English predominate. Today there were more French walkers than English and also a Dutch lady who came along. We had lunch at the border post which marks the former frontier between France and Spain before the treaty of the Pyrenees in 1659.
