Shadow

How do you get shadow without any directional light?  I really didn't reckon we'd have any sun today.  In the end we have had a bit this afternoon, but I'd long decided to get out early and use the shadow on the far side of Earth from the Sun  ;))

So this is Hyde Church Lane looking rather foggy before sunrise this morning.  A funny little cut through and I'm thinking very old - no pavements and only (just) one car wide.  Presumably an ancient cart-track leading down to what was Hyde Abbey.

What else?  Another big pile of papers destroyed, though annoyingly I've blown the shredder.  However, the clearing out is progressing, which is great, or would be if I hadn't also knackered my back.  Still the heat pad and a good night's sleep should sort that!

Very tempted to have another day out tomorrow, but we'll see..
