The Old Library

This was a very distinctive building in Hertford. They must have a good reason to move the library to Maidenhead Street, but I think it was just fine where it was. I used to have to cycle there from the other side of town to take Mum’s library books back and get her six more murders. It wasn’t easy balancing them on my handlebars, but I never fell off.
