Singapore

Despite the heat and humidity, I really like Singapore. After breakfast we took a taxi to Marina Bay and marvelled at the feat of engineering of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. A short time later we were at the top of it - 57th floor - on the sky deck viewing platform. The views of the city really were amazing. See extras. 
We then walked to Raffles hotel where W treated us to a wonderful Afternoon Tea. It was such a pleasure. Such a lovely place. It's probably the most relaxed we've felt on the holiday. 
We walked to St Andrew's Cathedral - a beautiful building and so white. See more extras.
Afterwards we decided to challenge ourselves by taking the MRT train (Mass Rapid Transit) back to our hotel. We had to change lines en route but found it all very straightforward with clear signage to our hotel on exiting the station.
