Woody Woodpecker

Two green woodpeckers spotted this morning. I had heard them calling in flight so I knew they were around. Beau wanted to see the goat this morning and then we walked a bit up the lane. The path through one of the new housing estates has been opened so we explored. Whilst I really dislike the shear number of new houses that have been built I was pleased to see trees being planted and three large areas for wildflower meadows (which I hope they do plant rather than "weeds being wildflowers". Beau had a whale of a time. Very waggy tail!
