First Picture

Well today I went back to see how the Ospreys were getting on and lo and behold I saw the young chick for the first time. This is it!. It is probably as big now as the parents.This is the first time I have seen it and also seen it standing on the nest.His parents were flying overhead and he kept calling to them and they would reply, probably to let him know that they were about. So this is the first time this Young Osprey has appeared on camera. Again it was taken on full zoom as the nest is quite a few hundred metres away.
I think Oliver is a good name! So Oliver, take a bow to the world!
There appears to be only one young Osprey!
