A wee bit o'Scotland

We bought this thistle a few years back when we were visiting Dumfries and Galloway on holiday... again :-)

Not sure what type of thistle this it is (anyone know?). Wherever it's from, for us it's a constant reminder of our love of Scotland.

The colours stand out quite vibrantly amidst the greens in the garden.
