Silver Y Moth

It's O's birthday today so I popped over to take his card and present.  He was catching the train to London for a work course so no chance for a family celebration but we can do it later.

It's been a lovely sunny day so I did some gardening. I saw this Silver Y moth on my hotlips plant. It's a day flying moth and  named after the silver Y mark on it's wing.  It's lovely to see late season insects.
