The Blue Lamp

Press conference at police HQ in Penrith today. Officers were launching an internet safety campaign which will go on throughout the summer holidays.

As we were leaving I noticed this on the outside of the building - a nod to police heritage and the days of Dixon of Dock Green and The Blue Lamp. You can still see these on a lot of the older police stations.
