One day at a time

Return

We drove home in a leisurely fashion via this walled garden centre and café near Jedbrugh where we had scones and Border tart (what else?) before continuing on through the most fabulous Scottish Border countryside. This was the view from our outside seat under the shelter. They don't allow dogs inside the café. I'm not keen on these Oriental faces and figures despite their peaceful demeanour but I loved the whiteness of the silver birch.
We took a different route from our normal A68 to cut across to Keilder school to pick up Fiona's glasses which she left behind after supply teaching last Thursday afternoon. The scenery was outstanding and we decided to travel that way again in slow time.
