Our own little delivery didn't make the news

My new bathroom cabinet was immediately rewrapped in it's brown swaddling and prepared for return to the great God Ikea. It is light blue instead of white.........or it was until Angela phoned at 2130 from Ikea customer services and told me politely that it was still my baby as the blue would disappear if I removed the protective film over the gloss white.

Much mirth from Mrs Booty and Mr Booty, result all round, well spotted Ikea. Apparently they have a similar problem when white kitchens are delivered, the recipients prepare to go ape at customer services then there is a "Duh!" moment as the truth is explained.
