The accidental finding

Hallowe'en Spectacles

In the optician's window. They always have unusual window dressing.

It was stormy in the morning, with a thousand fallen leaves. I hadn't heard a thing overnight! I went to see S, who was very down. The rain became horizontal, but after it passed we went to get some African food at the Trinity rooms, except there wasn't any today!

We went down to town instead, and ate Thai. I bumped into the family that I used to look after: the  boy-twins and their older brother. Their parents were there too, of course, and we had a good catch up. It was a pleasure to see them all. The more 'sensitive' twin is not into playing football, and goes to drama instead. I like that. I guess the twins must be six now.

Later, I returned to the Trinity rooms for the film about James Baldwin, The Price of the Ticket. Well worth seeing, though it's an oldie. My former tutor, Ronnie McGrath, also read from his essay about 'Jimmie'.

After a short discussion , I left and walked home  as I was determined to have another go at the jigsaw, though I didn't realize it would end up consuming me! (This is a backblip).
