Mono Monday - ‘Motion’
Time seemed to disappear down a black hole this morning, and I didn’t get nearly as much done as I was hoping. I did manage to organise a visit with Mary to see our friend Hazel at her care home tomorrow afternoon. I had to miss out seeing her while I had Covid, so it’s been a while. After lunch I had a lovely hour at the hairdresser’s chatting with Liz as she did my cut and finish. Then I bought two diaries for next year (one for desk and one for handbag), as things are now starting to be pencilled in for January and February.
We had our re-arranged book club meeting this evening, which again had been postponed partly because of my Covid. There were just five of us, but we had a good discussion about the book (which was my suggestion), and it went down well with everyone. We also had a good catch-up on lots of other stuff too, having not seen each other for six weeks. When I got home I realised I hadn’t done a blip, so seeing as I’ve been having a day where time has flown the phrase “time and motion” popped into my head, and I did some photographic jiggery-pokery along those lines using the pendulum wall clock in the lounge.
Thank you to sk for hosting October’s Mono Monday challenge, with this week’s theme of ‘Motion’.
