Quick . . . !

Bit of a record breaking day today. The cruise liner "Balmoral" is visiting Orkney and six coach loads of tourists descended on the craft shop! Each bus tour only had about 30 minutes in the village, and pretty intensive shopping took place in the time allowed!

There were four of us working, two shifts of two, and we were going like a fair! The store room is up a spiral staircase, so restocking between buses was great exercise! As I cashed up at night I realised four pairs of my socks had been sold. Each pair takes 13 - 14 hours to knit so Mike and I had a quick tea and I got out my needles again!
