Calm

After yesterday's dramatic waves I wanted to visit the coast again.  This is along the Solway Coast (an area of outstanding beauty) with the tide coming in.  Still blowy, but nothing like yesterday.  My mindset was for open spaces and if they were there, clouds.  Well clouds were there.  This is towards Silloth at Beckfoot.  I used to travel this road on my way to way and remember at Dubmill Point waves used to crash over the road; the road would be closed and a long diversion was required.   Sand, water and stones would litter the road. Derwentlass took a photo of Dubmill Point and gives an idea of what it can be like.
