Maastricht by night

This afternoon Peter and I left for a weekend in the south of Limburg. A few days filled with photography lay ahead of us. We've been looking forward to this very much.
We left at 13:00 and after some heavy traffic and several road closures around Venlo, and a break, we finally arrived at our AirBnB home around 18:30.
We missed the sunset because of all the delays, but that was compensated by the grey skies and drizzle. In fact: capturing our first landscapes during sunset wouldn't have been successful at all.
We unpacked and then went to Maastricht for dinner and some night photography. First we enjoyed a delicious pizza and after that we took our cameras to the (iso)test for some nightscaping. The drizzle was now in our advantage, because all the cobblestones sparkled very beautifully.
We walked around in the old centre of the city we've come to love so much in the past few years.
It's good to be back here!
