Contrast

Today I popped down to my favourite spot on the Buller River to see how she is looking.

Grey and lonely is the answer. With the rain making her look sad and abandoned. An interesting contrast with my last blip of this spot, taken back in midsummer.

However, I think she's quite beautiful in all her moods and today is certainly a contemplative one. It's just a pity that the cafe here isn't open so I had no shelter to sit and contemplate it from.
