Catching the Light

We had a lovely warm sunny day with around 23c. This Pansy was enjoying the sunshine. 

The day was spent dealing with the insurance company, the Natural Hazards Commission, (new name for EQC)...and the builder. The work on repairing my place in Akaroa will start this week. The builder wants me to go over to Akaroa next week to sort out a few things to do with the repair work. 

Why I have to deal with the Natural Hazard Commission is, when the carpets were removed there were a number of big cracks in the floor as the results of the earthquakes back in 2010/11.
