Blipmeet

Today after breakfast we took the Heritage Tram around central Christchurch. Later on we went back to Tram Stop 4 where we (WendsWanders and I) arranged to meet fellow Blippers Topsy56 and wjm53. They very kindly showed us some interesting places in the centre and introduced us to Ballantynes, a very nice department store, where we all had a very nice cream tea. 
It was really lovely to meet them both and chat about holidays and life in general. How great blipfoto is! I'm sure we'll meet them again  maybe here in New Zealand, or maybe in the UK, or even another country.
The extra is one of the places we were shown - Phenomenal - a mural which deceives the eye into thinking a flat surface is actually 3D.
This afternoon we walked along the river Avon where we saw the Memorial to those who lost their lives in the 2011 earthquake. Afterwards we walked around the Botanical Gardens where we saw some glorious flowers.
