Steam Railway

We had a fabulous day. The weather was perfect for a trip with the steam railway to to top of the Brocken and back. P. works there near his study, so it was even more special. H0tamer was even allowed to ride a part of the way in the locomotive! Teba had a great time to stay outside between the wagons. When the train passed a curve you could see the locomotive in front. The landscape is quite unique. There are very old spruces but most died because of bark beetles and climate change. They allow the woods to recover itself.
It was a great day and a great experience :-D
