Cadbury's World
Where yesterday was historical, cultural, and educational, today was whimsical, entertaining, and sugar induced.
There were chocolate bars thrown at you at every opportunity today. I think we received about a quarter of the entrance fee back in chocolate. I thought I had risen above Cadburys chocolate. I thought I had become more sophisticated in my choices and no longer enjoyed the cheaper, more processed brands, but no, one taste of my chocolate buttons pot and I was in love all over again. Ask me tomorrow, and I may change my view, I can be fickle that way.
Tonight was a Korean feast of tuna pancakes, bbq pork, perilla leaves, samgang, seaweed soup, and japchae, which Yuri had prepared. It was incredible. In the morning, she had shown me how to make Kimchi, and in return, I shared apple crumble and garlic bread with her. I know who got the better deal there!
It was a really easy, lovely, action-packed weekend with my boy and his girl. Given our 4 years apart, I really appreciate this time with them, I know they won't be si close forever.
