What a day

We visited Santa Monica, Venice and part of LA. Our train hope got delayed. Our train had an accident and hit a car.... so we waited and waited and waited. The announcement said every 15 minutes ... wait for another 5 Minutes or 15 Minutes and so on for 3 hours. Then we got 2 university students to share an Uber with us. By then the train was cancelled. There as a couple who had travelled all the way from Greece to LAX and then took a bus to the train station and now were stuck in LA. The Amtrak train personal never said anything, just crazy announcements came over the loudspeaker, like it you are said talk to someone, or be aware of sex trafficking, if you see something, say something.... etc. 
Otherwise we had a great day in Ojai and Santa Monica with family. We had booked a 6 PM train and arrived home at 11 PM. I helped the two university students and offered them a ride to their dorms in different directions.
