After the storm

We got off relatively lightly on the storm front today. The Severn levels rose and some trees in full leaf fell and temporarily closed roads but fortunately no one was injured. After lunch the sun came out and we enjoyed a walk on the nature reserve on the west of the village. We gathered some willow branches that had been blown onto the ground. We will try trimming and planting some of these shoots in our garden.
