Contrast!

We had Buddy and Hendrix for a sleep-over Friday and Saturday nights so it was a pretty chaotic weekend but they were all well behaved and played together nicely.
Buddy brought his Batman costume, and revelled in it. I think it's what he wants to be when he grows up, at least he'll be fighting crime instead of contributing to it. Try as I might, taking multiple photographs, I could not get one of him with his mouth closed. Must be a Batman thing.
Bedtime is the time for the girls school reading books, which are read religiously each evening, followed by, depending on the time, one, two or even three episodes of Little Princess before teeth cleaning and toilet.
This evening it was my turn with Bella, while Hetty read with Marlane.
Both of them have come a very long way with their reading in the past six months - can't believe they've been with us six months already!
Wont be long before they are reading Dostoevsky!
