Beautifully clear day

My two days off are over. *Sigh*. And so starts the weekend.

We had booked in to have scans that the doctors prescribed, so we got to the clinic. What a difference being there on the weekend. It was busy, to say the least. Not everything got done, but I'm not going to go into that here.

We headed back towards home and made a detour to eat lunch in Dubai Mall. With traffic going back to 2008 levels, there are some roads you always try to avoid. This junction is one of them. It didn't look too bad today, so I took the opportunity to get a picture of the tallest building in the world. It's been ages since I've posted a picture of it.

Whilst eating our very unhealthy McDonalds burgers(the result of the morning going slightly wrong), we met a couple who are transiting on their way back to Sydney from Europe. We helped them get tickets to At the Top and walked them there as the start time was so near! We also told them how fortunate to have a beautiful, clear day as these are so rare.

Home for the rest of the day. I managed to create and publish a new video. #230, it's a song for busy people! :))
