Gently purring.....
Today started benignly; gently sliding towards a mini maelstrom. I wrote a proposal for the Hoy Kirk with input from our Heritage Officer (online) and CMC. Earlier in daylight hours the rain gauge left in a taxi leaving no forwarding address; it’s probably related to Lady Bracknell. Bibs chose to have an indoor hobbies day. She hankers for the days of Blue Peter – especially avuncular Tony Hart. I only wish I’d done the same. I have resorted to trying, once again, to listen to Oregon. Despite individual members having such good CVs, I have never been able to connect with them. To my untrained ear it suggests the middle class, in Montreal. surrounded by Habitat furniture. Also it reminds me why I was unsuccessful in my interview to be the music critic for Trombone Weakly. Scullion sent a WhatsApp to say there’s been no simpering today – better news than expected.
