Before the storm

We were marshalling at Inverleith Junior parkrun this morning. The weather was not too bad as we arrived, so I thought I should take a photo of the avenue before all the leaves are blown away. The rain came on towards the end of the run (1st extra), not that it seemed to daunt the hardy wee souls running. 

The sun came out again in the afternoon and it was actually quite pleasant. We took a wander to the Botanics for coffee and cake and left just as the wind seemed to be picking up and spits of rain starting. Now in for the night and hoping Storm Ashley doesn’t amount to much.

Second extra is a collared earthstar with rainwater which appeared in the garden.
