A Damp Mushroom

Woke up to torrential rain today - then it rained steadily all morning. I was beginning to doubt I would get out for a walk - until it suddenly stopped raining around 1:30 p.m.

So I set off around 2 and fortunately found this rather damp looking mushroom in the grass alongside the footpath. Blip sorted. Had to do a bit of ‘gardening’ to remove leaf litter, twigs and bits of dead grass around this one.

It was actually quite warm in the sunshine and was quite a pleasant afternoon.
