I woke this morning to three, yes three emails supposedly from the hotel via Booking. com, regarding my reservation in December.  They were asking for credit card details in order to secure my booking!! Mmm. I was suspicious. Why three, and why was the message in four different languages!! So I deleted them and messaged the hotel directly, asking for confirmation of these emails.  The reply was, do not give your details, your booking is confirmed.  Phew. I hope  this helps to make people aware, in case they experience a similar scam.
Otherwise, a fairly normal Sunday,  apart from the wind and monsoon rain this afternoon.  The sun is now out though, and everywhere is dry, as though it never happened.....
