Maple

This tree is such a bright spot in the garden just now that I thought I should blip it before its leaves get blown away by storm Ashley comes to visit!
The day began with a most enjoyable and quiet walk with Bertie. We met only one other person at the end of our walk. She was dog sitting for her son and daughter-in-law and was appreciating the peaceful space of the community orchard.
It was a busy day of housework and cooking. Two friends came to sample the fish suppers that I cooked in the evening. The aim was to persuade them that pollock (caught by Nick) is a very tasty fish. I think I succeeded.
