Lowther Room

After another trip to the High Street, it was down to the station to get the train to London to chair my first Education Committee meeting as the Vice President: Education of the Royal Geographical Society. We had a packed agenda and I'm grateful to Claire Brown for her diligence here in checking through everything before hand. Plenty to discuss. This room is named after the former owner of the building which makes up the majority of the HQ of the RGS. I was very pleased with how it went, then made a dash across London to get the train back to Ely. Just failed to make it through the river road before it closed for overnight roadworks which meant a lengthy detour on bumpy Fenland backroads.
