Entente Cordial

I didn't take any pictures today but No.2 sent this to me.  H moved in last weekend and her cat Elliot came too.  Malcolm has ruled the roost for two years and didn't take kindly to the newcomer (although the 'old man').  A few fisticuffs and hissing and keeping them apart for a week seems to have worked and they now seem ok?

Nothing much sort of day - we blitzed the house, me hoovering, OH dusting.  He went off to football and I completed another Peter Rabbit and some hand sewing.  I took myself off to Junction 8 for a change of scenery and a beak at autumn things, bought a cream puffa jacket which I had spotted online.

Home after a draw 1:1, he cooked steaks on the BBQ and we watched an episode of The Lincoln Lawyer although I was not really concentrating and had no idea what was going on.

Thinking about No.1 all day - she was ticking off another on her bucket/f*ck it list.  This time an afternoon at a Lido - not great weather but it was heated and they had afternoon tea.  JC sent me a picture in the evening and it looked as though they were having a good time.  I miss her loads and as tumour progresses, conversation on the phone becomes more difficult so will wait until I see her to hear all about it.
