SEASON OPENER

My son, Sophia and Isabella collected me this morning, early, and headed to the beach.
It was the opening of the Nippers season at Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club (FSLSC).
It was Sophia’s first day.
It was well organised with volunteers taking names, giving out a bag containing a water bottle, surf cap, sun hat and fluoro vest. Her name then written on cap and vest by granny.
They had beach activities and then water activities, very low key for six year olds. The weather wasn’t kind. They didn’t mind.
They will be back for more next Sunday with less of the organised chaos. I was impressed.
