not a great photo day

I probably spent at most 20-30 min with the camera during the day . I think I waited a little too long as the light and birdly activity was down a bit by the time I picked up the camera. They were all deep in the branches of trees for the most part. i did think it odd that there was so much more brownish color on the chickadee , but it could be the lighting. I also tried again tonight ( as last night I had not one but two dead camera batteries) to get a photo of the comet. I sort of succeeded  but there is too much blurring of the comet and stars. A combination of a bit of haze on the horizon , too long an exposure and the camera operator is going to have to give up and find a battery for her remote.In any event it certainly isn't anything i am going to post!
