Hanging Rock

We visited a couple of state parks today. Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock. I couldn’t actually do the trails but the ride to them was lovely. Jo doesn’t do well in crowds and both were crowded on this beautiful day. This lake was at the base of Hanging Rock. We also visited an old time Country Store that carried everything that you could imagine and then some in Danbury, NC. The store has been in the same family since 1920. She recommended an ice cream stop for homemade ice cream that was really good. Jon had Maple bacon and I had Black Cherry. Jo even had a vanilla pup cup with some bacon on top!!
