British Embassy, Ulaanbaatar
The day started a bit earlier, the company presenting before me wanted to do a breakfast briefing for one hour, instead of the normal 30 mins, a bit strange. Anyway, I listened but didn’t eat, too nervous before my turn. My presentation started well, with a photo of Stelviopass, with 75 hairpin bends, and only one charging station, title was Fluorine, Accelerating the E-Mobility Journey.
It went very well, one irritating computer glitch, very annoying, in the middle.,,
Lots of people came to me after which is always really good. Straight after the conference I went with a Tasmanian lady for an hour for a walk around and look at the national Museum, very interesting.
Later in the afternoon, the British Delegates were invited to the British Embassy for high tea. The ambassador looked rather strangely at my name badge, from Switzerland, but I assured him I was British.
In the evening, a large group of us went to Ismene’s kind of send off drinks/meal, the event organizer who died suddenly before the conference. There were lots tears, smiles, stories, tacos, drinks and dancing, it was a very late night…,,
