honest toun festival

This was the crusaders chase through the Esk as part of the honest toun festival, it was fab, they started at 6pm on there crusade I took this from the roman bridge, on there way back, It was fab,

they were led as usual by the pipe band along the side of the esk, the band turned off , there was then a huge roar went up from the crowd and we were all cheering as two young pipers in full highland dress continued to play on down the banks of the esk and through the river it was fantastic.....

Then came the huge prosession of horses and riders through the esk, under the bridge and riding onto the street, the noise of the hooves was wonderful, over an above the cheers of whey... as they come accross the river.

Evening ffinished off with Lucas ice cream... yum.x
