Woooosh!

Huge waves this afternoon, the recent full moon has made for huge high tides. Pete and I made it past the breakers to the relative calm where it was very nice having a little swim about. And it was so warm we could sit in the sun without a mad dash to get dressed. And Kate bought me another birthday present- just beautiful it is, I'll blip it another (dark, rainy) day.

In other news I have to knit a whole sock by Friday to make up a whole present. As it turns out, this is a nice challenge as I have had to sit on the sofa as much as I can today and watch the telly. And more of the same tomorrow. And I think generally, just more of that, it's been very nice.
