Looking
down sometimes helps to capture something unusual. We topped up the cupboards, avoided buying any unnecessary crap and found some Scottish cheddar in a shop.
Later I had to go to get all the things that were forgotten. I had to pop into our local Asian supermarket where one of the parents from Kita said hello to me. She owns and runs a huge chain of supermarkets. I said hello to her daughter who is in my group and was given a big bag of treats for my boys. I was very touched. It left me feeling more at home here.
In other news I heard some exciting news that will allow me to make some changes in my work life here. It's been a very long time coming but I am very relieved that it is going to be sorted out.
