Sorry to post so many at once! Still a day behind!

A beautiful afternoon .... too good to waste so we had another wander up the road :-)

We were surprised to see this Muslin Moth caterpillar wandering across the road! 

Saw one here last year but that was in August.

We also saw a Red Admiral who posed (Extra) & a Speckled Wood that didn't stop!

Had another try to see the Comet this evening (Friday) ...... unfortunately there was a large 'wall' of cloud across the western horizon which continued to thicken & increase! Think we are fated not to see it!

We are going to have a last try to see it tonight (Saturday) ..... fingers crossed there will be clear skies!
