A Drizzly Day

It was drizzling first thing this morning when I drove to the surgery for my covid and flu jabs. The surgery runs special clinics for these - it's a lot of work for them given the age profile of the town. They have the process designed perfectly, we get sent a text with a link to book (10 min slots from memory), I arrived 5 mins early and walked straight in to reception where I was directed to one of two corridors with at least two rooms being used in each, I went straight in again and one lady was confirming my details on the pc and the other was giving the two jabs. Then you walk out of a side door and it all took only 1 minute! Then I went to the nearby shop for a newspaper and back home. I did some ironing whilst listening to a podcast. This afternoon I watched the first three episodes of Shardlake (we had a heavy shower) and also spent a short while outside doing some tidying and filling the bird feeders. I also completed a mystery jigsaw which I started yesterday - it had no picture to follow, so that was different! Looking forward to Strictly now.
