Sad Saturday

I busied myself with 'chores' today after the lovely holiday in Mull.  
Washing did get on the line, though of course there wasn't much sun nor wind so it came back in damp!  On opening the back door to retrieve the clothing I disturbed a kestrel that had downed a pigeon for its meal - it flew off in haste!
After tidying up the bigger bits I was left with a pile of feathers.  Felt sorry for both the pigeon and the still hungry kestrel.....
In extra a couple of daddy longlegs mating!
