Everyday Life

As expected, I fell asleep easily last night. All good until my 5 AM furry wake up call landed on my head. I'd hoped that the darker Autumn mornings may encourage him to sleep longer, but not so far!

He was evicted from the room but it was hard to get back to sleep. Brian wasn't snoring this time, but breathing like a steam train. Minus the woowoooo bit fortunately... When Minstrel tried his luck again at his normal 6 O'clock feeding time Brian went to feed him and once it was quiet I was soon asleep.

I didn't lie in too late as I had plans to go visit my Mum in the care home today.

That went reasonably well, though as ever she slept through most of the time I was there. A lot of that's down to the medication for her dementia I think. She woke up a bit when they brought the lunch trolley...

When Brian picked me up, we drove via Sainsbury's for a very small shop, then home for lunch.

I'm enduring watching Manchester United v Brentford now. United are 1-0 down to a last minute goal at half time. It can't get much worse... Can it? United missed loads of chances in the first half, hopefully they will find the back of the net in the second half.

I took this photo in the car. The little insect was on the inside of the car door,  in a small gap near the hinges that's only visible when the door is open. I photographed it because we'd had such a rainy start to the day that I figured Blip opportunities could be thin on the ground today.

The sun is out now though...
