10 tiny bears!

A much brighter day than expected and warm. It was damp to start but I’d decided to do a wash and by the time it was done it was fine enough to hang it out. Just brought it in dry, a bonus at this time of year..

Despite the warm weather I wasn’t tempted out as I was quite achy after last night. It was a great concert and I really enjoyed it but it’s incredible how much you ache after standing for 45 minutes ( x2) and singing. Even my arms ached from holding the music folder!

I finished this little project earlier this week. Having had the pattern for a while I decided to make the cottage bag from odds and ends back in the summer. Then I did the 5 boy teddies starting with Rupert - can you spot him? I put it aside whilst we went away in September and so had the 5 girl teddies to make when we got back. 
They took about an evening each. Hopefully someone will like them.

Chris went shopping this morning as usual and came back with ingredients for the Christmas cake so we are going to enjoy our evening to the smell if it cooking. I’m now having a small glass of Madeira, it’s helping my cough, and it tastes of Christmas cake!
