It's Flower Friday!

This afternoon I met my friend C for lunch and a catch up.  She had very sad news to impart and so we raised a glass to the memory of her sister.

Before I left, I took some quick shots of this orchid, acquired by The Son last weekend as it was an unwanted gift.  My main pic is a top view of the orchid and the Extras pic shows it in its rather splendid glass jar.
