The Road North

A head start this morning having stayed in a dodgy Premier Inn full of boxers last night on the edge of Kettering. We booked it because we thought S.’s mum was in Kettering General following a fall…realised just in time to avert a visiting time mess that actually she was in Northampton general! So hotel was in the wrong place but never mind!!
Hit the road just after 4am and breakfast in Tebay Services before 8am.
At least we are arriving a few hours before the storm hits!
