So very pleasing

Having yet another frustrating morning at work,.it is hard to describe how great it was to come out of my back door and get into the front passenger seat of Marion's car.  Yvonne was parked in front of Marion but her car only has 2.doors so in my head that made.it more simple.  Yvonne had half her house in the boot of her car.

That is a slight exaggeration but it did make me.chuckle as I sat.comfy and she moved.it all.

On arrival at the Basin we all put on our new bobbers bobble hats which Yvonne had collected on her way to mine and then joined the quite large group that had gathered for a swim.  The water is now 13 degrees which is not at all bad for the time of the year.  After our swim we drank coffee and sat.

We.chstted with each other and people walking past.  Everyone seemed somehow warmer in the Autumn sunshine. A chihuahua joined us on the wall for a little while, sitting in our laps and craving attention. Boats cast a myriad of patterns onto the water whilst birds and even a few late butterflies danced by.

Soon it was time for me to return to work but it's hard to think of a more perfect way to have spent a Friday lunch break.
