OLD FRONDS

Spores forming and covering the backs of dying fronds of a fern, with a bonus white spider towards the bottom left which I didn't see at the time.

I had an eye test this morning. She told me she could give me a new prescription to sharpen up my varifocals slightly, but as I'm not noticing any deterioration, read nearly everything on the chart, am safe to drive and spent a fortune last year on the current specs, I said I'd wait at least a year to see how things change by then. She also said my cataracts haven't got worse and are still at the "early haze" stage and at this rate it will be years before they need to be dealt with. So I was quite pleased with all that.
