Spider's web

A very misty start to the day. I spotted this huge spider’s web as I drove out of our drive early this morning to go for a blood test. (You can see the amazing detail better in large if you have the time.)

After experiencing one unexpected traffic diversion, and then sitting at a temporary roadworks traffic light for ages because it was stuck on red, I actually arrived at the clinic on the dot, having left very early for my appointment. Just as well, really.

Otherwise it’s been a day of printing Christmas cards … when the printer would co-operate. Which it didn’t, a lot of the time. I think it is now demanding that I feed every sheet of card in singly and I’m happy to oblige if that will get me out of a somewhat tricky situation, with orders coming in fast. The last thing I need just now is a temperamental printer ...
