Blip on the go

Today was Stephen’s last day with us. He has done quite a bit of work from home. It gives me a fascinating insight into his world as a Barrister. Currently he is working as lead Junior on the Covid Inquiry representing District Nurses and Healthcare professionals.

In his downtime he is learning Spanish. I am tired just listening to what his future plans are! However it is always good to have him home and the house will be much quieter now he has gone back to London. It will be Christmas before we see him again.

Grabbed this shot as I crossed Lendal Bridge on the way home. Richard used to be based at the Guildhall and my Dad used to work further along at the York Evening Press. Both on the left bank of the Ouse and in this photo. As a child I didn’t like walking over this bridge as you could see the river through the wrought Iron sides.
